Chris & Stacy's Wedding Weekend

This past Saturday Ryan had the opportunity to be the Best Man in his marine buddy's wedding.  I had only known Chris from the week leading up to our wedding and he stayed at my home with Ryan. Chris and Ryan are "two peas in a pod" and "feed off of each other" when it comes to joking around.  These two had guests laughing most of the time! Stacy is one of the sweetest women you will ever meet. I first met her the Thursday night before the wedding. Being that I was not part of the bridal party and was there nice and early, I was able to observe a lot of things. Come Saturday, I assisted in any way that I could. From major things like making sure people were ready on time to the little things like adjusting the bride's stunning dress for pictures. I enjoyed every minute of helping behind the scenes at Chris and Stacy's wedding. Here are some photos from the day [sorry for the quality of some, they were taken on my iPhone because I wasn't sure if they would have an Instagram!]

The first look in front of the Chapel on the church property.

Chris reading Stacy his vows.

The Kiss!

Before the ceremony they went downtown to a coffee shop for some pictures.
An older couple allowed them to take pictures in their Fiat Trolley!
I also had the opportunity to get to know Andrea Dozier, the wedding photographer. She has such a fantastic personality! She allowed me to help with adjusting the brides dress and getting people where they needed to be for certain pictures. It was so wonderful working with her. She is one phenomenal photographer, and I don't mean just her photographs! Here is her website: http://www.andreadozier.com/

What we are planning next: Ryan's whole side of the family is coming over on Saturday for Dinner. This will be the first time we are hosting a group of people in our apartment since we have settled in. Also, this week is the first of a six-week training for our first 5k as a married couple. We will be doing the Turkey Trot in Downtown Cleveland on Thanksgiving morning [that way we can eat all we want on that day!]

How you can pray for us: We are currently looking for a church where Ryan could become pastor or assistant pastor come next June. We know that it is still 7 months away, but it's never too early to begin looking. Please pray that God will guide us and that we will make the wise decision where we will settle.
